This is Grammy Moore’s Apple Dumpling Recipe. She made this for me last year for my birthday cake! They are very yummy!
2 cans of crescent rolls
2 apples cored and sliced into 16 pieces
Spray 8 x13 pan with Pam
First- Mix together
1/3 cups of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Now you are ready to assemble your dumplings. Place one apple slice and one teaspoon of the sugar and cinnamon mixture inside a crescent, roll up and seal then place in pan. Repeat filling and rolling until all 16 are in pan. Sprinkle any remaining sugar and cinnamon over the top.
Next- Mix together
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of butter, melted
Pour this over the top of the rolls.
Last – Pour one 12 oz can of Sprite over the rolls.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes
