Garden update- Flowers of Promise

July 19, 2013 by Buffy

The prettiest flowers I grow are in my vegetable garden! These flowers are the reward for hard work and hold the promise of yummy produce to come.

The blooms on Farmer Rick’s peas remind me of beautiful orchid blooms.

These lovely yellow blooms hold the promise of a juicy red tomato.

Cucumber blooms

These yellow beauties promise appetizers of cool cucumbers dipped in homemade buttermilk ranch dressing and spicy pickles to be enjoyed all year long!
