Salsa Seeds started!
9March 28, 2014 by Buffy
We are still several weeks from putting the good stuff in the garden! Salsa! Well, tomatoes and peppers at least. My onions have been hanging out in the garden for a few weeks not making much progress. (Too pitiful to feature here.) My bedroom window is starting to look like a jungle! I know everyone is tired of seeing my beautiful seedlings by now, but I’m so amazed I grew them from a seed! Thank you blog friends for inspiring me!
I take my seedlings out to sun on the deck in the warm afternoons and bring them back in for the cold nights.
I will definitely need a green house next Spring! I’ll have to get Farmer Rick on that!
There definitely is something inspiring about watching vegetables grow! Soon these will look like this!
While we are dreaming of that first Summer tomato slice! My blog friend Sarah over at Sarah the Gardener has fresh tomatoes over flowing as her Summer is winding down. What fun it is to see gardens from all over the world. She enjoyed one for lunch for me yesterday! I’ll do the same for her in June!
YUM! I never thought of growing salsa. 😉
It is our favorite part of the garden! My boys won’t eat a tomato or a pepper, but they love Salsa!
That’s funny about your boys…. 😉
We’re finally beginning to get some of our spring starts in the ground, and I’m enjoying watching our tomato plants grow (while dreaming of their wonderful fruit).
And I’m sorry to hear that I’m not the only person with pitiful looking onions right now. Let’s hope they bounce back.
Bring on spring!
I thought your onion sets started out looking much better than mine. Where did you order them from?
They look so cute! I’m so far behind…I’m just starting my seeds this weekend. Here’s hoping it goes smoothly!! 😉
My tomatoes came up so quickly! About a week! So next week you will be seeing green too! Happy Spring!
Good work. Love the title 🙂
Thanks!
