Forever Blooming Wild Flowers

March 31, 2014 by Buffy

I finally finished my recycled aluminum can flowers for my chicken coop!  I think they turned out great!

I got to use the power drill!  I love power tools!  But Farmer Rick doesn’t let me play with them much!

Farmer Rick added a little frame to my Rooster pin too.  My hens are so happy!

He also started working on my new chicken watering system.  That is not exactly a success story yet.  But I will post when he gets it working!  Anyone else using a nipple watering system for their chicken coop?

My dad made me a nipple watering system! I LOVE it! 55 gal plastic barrel on cinder blocks on back side of coop. PVC pipe run downward(gravity), thru te wire and the make a T with nipples off of that. It is awesome, no lore carrying water or cleaning out small waterers. He did my auto feeders also, he is the best!

I hate those nasty water pans! I will post when it is working! He used a sealer that could take up to 7 days to dry! He also has parts for an automatic feeder, that will be his next project. I’ll post it too!
