I have been a little jealous of all my fellow bloggers with their new chicks!  I mentioned this to Farmer Rick and he saved a young rooster from the frying pan!  He brought it home to live with my girls!  Meet King George!

Yes, he is very proud to be the girls main man!  He is still missing some feathers from his last home where he wasn’t the only Roo.  I think he will fill out to be a great looking Copper Blue Maran rooster.

He also is a little confused about what time sunrise starts!  He often gets confused with the first light that comes on in the house.  This is not cool!  I expect the neighbors to come complaining any minute!

For now he is enjoying his stay!  Maybe we will get a few chicks with him.  Crossbreed chickens anyone?  Or maybe I need a few Copper Blue Maran hens!  I think I may have a problem.
