Almost Hatch Day

We have been incubating our first eggs!  We started with 16 eggs, but are sadly down to 15.  Good news tonight the eggs are wiggling and we found one with a egg tooth crack.

This is day 19!  We are expecting the hatch by Sunday.  These will be mixed breed chicks who were fathered by King George, our very handsome blue maran rooster.  We are very excited!  Any guesses on how many will hatch?

    My guess is 11 will hatch. Can’t wait for the new chicks blog!! 🙂
